In a recent Instagram post, Mukul Rustagi, co-founder of Classplus, revealed how he and his co-founder managed to attend a lecture at Stanford University without being enrolled or paying any fees. The video has garnered significant attention, showcasing their adventurous spirit and curiosity.
Rustagi shared that both he and his co-founder had always dreamed of studying at Stanford but lacked the necessary grades and financial resources. Determined to experience the prestigious university firsthand, they decided to visit the campus and discreetly joined a lecture.
"We snuck into a class at Stanford! Stanford was our dream, but we didn’t have the grades or the money to go. We were curious about what made Stanford special. So, we went to the campus and sneaked into a class," Rustagi explained in his post.
Their bold move paid off when they politely asked the professor if they could sit in on the lecture, and to their surprise, he agreed. They attended a finance class, where they learned about the valuation of acquisitions and mergers.
As a memento of their unique experience, Rustagi and his co-founder asked the professor if they could keep a marker from the classroom. The professor consented, and they took the marker as a souvenir, which they still cherish.
This story resonates with many aspiring students, particularly in India, who dream of studying at renowned institutions like Stanford. Rustagi's account highlights the lengths to which some are willing to go to fulfill their academic aspirations, even if only for a brief moment.
